The Jupiter Island Garden Club had our fabulous "A Night in Old Santa Fe" bi-annual fund raising party, to take place on March 5, 2005.
Use of these funds will go towards the following projects:
- HOBE SOUND NATURE CENTER and its fine educational programs for all ages, plus an enormously successful day camp for over 350 area children,
- THREE SCHOLARSHIPS in the field of Natural Sciences to graduates of the Martin County high schools,
- HOBE SOUND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, where we have planted trees each year. We also sponsor a yearly poster contest stressing the environment,
- HOBE SOUND CHILD CARE CENTER, where we do landscaping,
- BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF MARTIN COUNTY, where we landscaped the Hobe Sound Unit's new building,
- HARBOR ISLAND landscape upkeep and improvements,
- BRIDGE ROAD FICUS TREES - maintenance,
- GARDEN CLUB OF AMERICA Conservation and Foreign Exchange Scholarships,
- HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE TREASURE COAST - shade trees for new shelter runs.
